Vision FC pick first win after beating Accra Lions

Newly promoted Vision FC picked their first win after beating Accra Lions 2-0 in the Ghana Premier League campaign.

Elijah Addai scored the opener in the 44th minute, giving the visitors advantage before half time break.

The host came closer to equalising after dominating the first 15 minutes of the second half but couldn’t find the back of the net.

Emmanuel Kyei Baffour scored in the 85th minute to seal the victory for the visitors and shatter any hope of a possible comeback.

The win moves Vision FC to 3rd position on the league standings with four points while the hosts are in the bottom three.

The newly promoted side will be aiming to keep their unbeaten run against Legon Cities.

Meanwhile, Accra Lions face Karela United in their next game as they look to get their season back on track.
