FC Samartex striker Emmanuel Mamah has urged the team to remain focused despite win against against Victoria United in the preliminary rounds of CAF Champions League

The reigning Ghana Premier League secured a 1-0 victory against their Cameroonian counterparts at the Japoma Stadium in Douala.

Mamah netted the winning goal to put his side in the lead ahead of the second leg on August 25 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“Football has always been filled with surprises and we all know the famous phrase that football is full of uncertainties. Therefore, we don’t want to celebrate this achievement until we have advanced to the next stage of the competition,” Mamah added.

The Timber Boys will now shift their attention to preparing for the second leg and determined to advance to the next round.
