Former Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is positive about the chances of Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Despite their uninspiring performances last season, Badu believes both teams have shown significant improvement, particularly in their recent Democracy Cup match on July 17 at Accra Sports Stadium.
Kotoko emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Hearts of Oak, courtesy of goals from Justice Blay and Peter Acquah Amidu.
“For the past two years, I can say this is the first time I can say I have witnessed a great game between Hearts and Kotoko,”
The ball was on the ground, inter-positional changes, good possession, composure and it was very nice. I think both of them can build on this and have a formidable squad. Both teams can build on this so that this year, the league will be very exciting” Emmanuel Agyemang Badu told Joy Sports
The Ghana Premier League is scheduled to commence on September 6.
