The Ghana Football Association have announced the date for the commencement of the Ghana Premier League 2024/25 season.
The Ghanaian top-flight campaign is set to start on September 6 at nine match centers.
The league will start with 18 clubs as Young Apostles, Baseke Holy Stars and Vision FC replace relegated Bofoakwa Tano, Real Tamale United and Great Olympics.
The Ghana FA sent a released to the clubs to submit their strips and squad list from 15th to 30th August, 2024.
Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are expected to battle for the ultimate after a disappointing performance in the 2023/24 season.
Defending champions FC Samartex 1996 will also seek to defend the title.
