NYA CEO optimistic about completing sports projects despite delays

National Youth Authority CEO, Pius Hadzide, has addressed calls for his resignation over the pending Multipurpose Sports projects across the country.

Despite investing over $4 million, only one of the 10 projects initiated in 2018 has been completed.

In an interview on Happy Sports, Hadzide apologized for the delay and attributed it to financial constraints.

“The problem we are facing now is money. Funds are not available so the people calling for my resignation are they saying that the money is in my pocket and I have decided not to use it for the project or not?

“I just said that now we are getting a breakthrough because the money will be released and we will finish the project,” Pius added.
