Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex 1996 have denied reports of captain Emmanuel Keyekeh’s transfer to Tanzanian outfit Singida Black Stars.
Keyekeh was spotted playing for Singida over the weekend in their cup game against APR which fueled speculations of his permanent move.
However, The Timbers debunked the reports and insists player “remains an integral part of our team.”
The Samreboi-based side assured their supporters to remain calm “as all matters are being handled with utmost care and diligence, and the management is diligently preparing for the upcoming season”.
Samatex FC will know their CAF Champions League opponent’s today when the draw comes off in Egypt.
