Black Stars forward Osman Bukari stepped onto the grass at the St. David’s Performance Training Center for the first time with his new Austin FC teammates after completing his switch from Red Star Belgrade.
The Ghanaian was unveiled by the club on June 26, after a club-record fee of €7m was paid to Red Star to acquire his services.
After the noise and buzz following his arrival, Bukari trained with his new teammates, aiming to help move Austin FC up the standings in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer.
Austin FC have picked up a win in their last 5 games and on 27 points from 21 games, leaving team in 10th position.
Osman’s first test is against New York City on July 7.
