PHOTOS: Black Stars resume training in Cape Coast ahead of Madagascar game

The Ghana national team, the Black Stars have returned to training this evening to continue preparations for the clash against Madagascar in the qualifiers for the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The side performed terribly at the 2021 AFCON and as a result, exhited just at the group stage.

Beginning a new qualifying campaign for the next AFCON in Ivory Coast, Ghana has set sight on doing everything possible to ensure qualification.

In the first week of June, the Black Stars are billed to play the first two games of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

The first of the two games will be a home clash against Madagascar.

Ahead of that opening game, Ghana started training at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday.

After another training on Saturday, the team is back at it this evening to step up training for the game.

The meeting with Madagascar will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
