Head coach of Accra Lions, Ibrahim Tanko has indicated that securing a win over Bibiani Gold Stars is very good for his team.
The gaffer was on the touchline on Monday afternoon and guided the team to beat their matchday 26 opponent of the Ghana Premier League season 2-0.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Coach Ibrahim Tanko applauded his players for getting the goals but admitted that there is still a lot to do when it comes to their finishing.
He stressed that the team will continue working hard in training to improve that part of their game.
“It’s very good points for us looking at where we have climbed on the table. I think the boys did very well. I mean we created a lot of chances and winning 2-0 against Bibiani is a very good result for us.
“To score two goals against a tough side like Bibiani Gold Stars is not an easy job. Definitely, we are going to keep working to improve our scoring,” Coach Ibrahim Tanko told StarTimes.
Up next for Accra Lions, the team will take on Karela United in an away fixture.
