In a bid to bolster their offensive line following the departure of Eren Dinkçi, FC Heidenheim has set its sights on SC Paderborn’s versatile winger, Sirlord Conteh.
According to Sky sources, the southern German club is keen on securing the services of the 27-year-old German-born Ghanaian, renowned for his blistering pace.
Negotiations between the two parties are reportedly underway, although no formal agreement has been reached yet. Conteh, who can operate on both wings and as a striker, is one of the fastest players in the German professional league, clocking an impressive top speed of 36.13 km/h.
Despite his undeniable talent, Conteh has primarily featured as a substitute for SC Paderborn this season. Of his 28 appearances, he has only started seven times, contributing one goal and three assists.
With a market value of approximately 700,000 euros and a contract with SC Paderborn until 2025, Conteh could provide a valuable addition to FC Heidenheim’s attacking options.
As the new season approaches, the club is leaving no stone unturned in its quest to fill the void left by Dinkçi’s transfer to SC Freiburg.
