Former Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has Officially joined Berekum Chelsea till the end of the ongoing Ghana Premier League with an option to extend after the 2023/24 season, as kickoffghana.com earlier reported.
This strategic move, finalized on Monday evening, sees Boadu stepping into the leadership role following a mutually beneficial agreement with the club.
The appointment comes in the wake of Christopher Ennin’s exit, who parted ways with the Blues to join Hearts of Oak as an assistant coach.
Boadu’s coaching portfolio includes stints at Medeama and the Ghana U20 male team, which he led to victory at the Wafu Zone B Championship in Ivory Coast last year.
As the 2012 Ghanaian Champions aim to bolster their standings, they currently occupy the 6th position with 30 points from 19 matches in the 2023/24 season.
