Ghana international, Joseph Paintsil has issued a letter after signing for Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy.

The forward on Wednesday, February 21, sealed a move to open a new chapter of his career in the United States of America.

In his letter to bid KRC Genk farewell, Joseph Paintsil said it’s difficult to find words to describe the impact the club has had on him.

He goes on to express appreciation to the club, the players he played with, and all the fans for their support.

“It’s difficult to put into words the impact this Club has had on my life. From the moment I arrived at this club as a boy, to now, leaving as a man, this club has been my home, my sanctuary, and my family. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Directors, Coaches and Staff both past and present for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to embark on this incredible journey. Your support and guidance have been instrumental in my growth, both as a player and as a person.

“To my teammates – Thank you for the countless hours of training, the shared victories, and the moments of resilience in defeat. Together, we’ve smiled, cried, and fought side by side. The connection we’ve formed will last a lifetime, and I am forever grateful for the moments we’ve shared. Genk will always hold a special place in my heart. The memories, the victories, the defeats, and the lessons learnt have shaped me into the person I am today. I will always carry the spirit of Genk with me. Thank You,” Joseph Paintsil said in his letter.

The 26-year-old according to an official communique from LA Galaxy has signed a four-year contract to play in Major League Soccer.
