Despite setbacks with a loss to Cape Verde and a draw against Egypt in the AFCON Group B, Ghanaian football star Mohammed Kudus remains optimistic about the Black Stars’ qualification chances.
Kudus expressed confidence in the team’s potential to advance, stating, “It is very possible. Until we finish the last game in the group, it’s the same focus. You could see the fighting spirit and the energy from the guys today.”
Acknowledging the need for an extra push in the final group-stage match, Kudus emphasized the importance of securing three points at all costs.
He added, “We have to do more than that in the last game because we have to get the three points at all costs, and we will see what happens after.”
Ghana with just a point from two games will play Mozambique on Monday, January 22 in their last group game.
