PSG suspend women’s manager Didier Olle-Nicolle

Paris Saint Germain have suspended their women’s team’s manager Didier Olle-Nicolle due to accusations of inappropriate behavior towards playing staff.

In a statement, the club said: “Paris Saint-Germain have today been informed of inappropriate facts and remarks to which members of their women’s team have allegedly been exposed.

“These facts and statements, if confirmed, would be incompatible with the sporting and human values of Paris Saint-Germain. Paris Saint-Germain takes the situation very seriously and intends to shed full light on the facts and comments reported.”

On Olle-Nicolle’s suspension, the statement added: “This measure is of a conservatory and temporary nature. It in no way prejudges the results of the internal investigation that will be carried out, or the decisions that the club may have to take.”

PSG currently sit second in Division 1 Feminine, five points behind leader Lyon. The French domestic season is yet to be concluded, and PSG still has two league matches remaining – including Sunday’s crucial clash against Lyon, which will likely determine the destination of this season’s title.
