A solitary strike from Emmanuel Antwi on Sunday afternoon handed an important win to Great Olympics in the contest against Real Tamale United (RTU) in the Ghana Premier League.
Great Olympics played away to RTU today in a Week 17 encounter of the 2023/24 Ghanaian top-flight campaign.
In the encounter today, both teams played well in their bid to secure all three points.
Although RTU had their moments and created several chances in both halves, the team could not find the back of the net.
The visitors, Great Olympics managed to equalise through Emmanuel Antwi in the 34th minute to secure a narrow victory at the end of the 90 minutes.
Courtesy of the win today, Great Olympics have moved to 10th on the Ghana Premier League table with 21 points.
The team has one outstanding game and could improve their position on the league log if the team manages to win that game.
For RTU, the team remains in the relegation zone of the League table.
