Mohammed Kudus rallies West Ham teammates to focus on Wolves clash after Europa League success

Ghana star, Mohammed Kudus is aiming for a win for West Ham United in the next English Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

Speaking after the Hammers beat SC Freiburg on Thursday night, the Black Stars forward noted that scoring early helped a lot.

He said it is important that his teammates focus on the next game against Wolves.

“We knew they would come in strong but we were also prepared so it’s good we got the goals early. We now focus on the game,” Mohammed Kudus said.

In the game against SC Freiburg on Thursday, Mohammed Kudus started for West Ham in what was the final Group A game of the Europa League.

In the game played at the London Stadium, Mohammed Kudus scored in the 14th minute to give West Ham United the lead after an assist from Edson Alvarez.

Later in the 42nd minute, Edson Alvarez also got his name on the scoresheet to seal a 2-0 win for the Hammers against SC Freiburg.

The win meant West Ham topped Group A to advance to the Round 16 stage of this season’s Europa League.
