Dreams FC striker John Antwi has earned a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup Team of the Week after inspiring his side’s triumph over Academica do Lobito on Sunday.
The Still Believe lads won 3-2 against the Angolan team in the group stage matchday three of the ongoing campaign.
Abdul Azziz Isah drew the first blood on the 10th minute mark before Nelo levelled four minutes later as the first half ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
After the recess, Dreams FC scored twice to lead 3-1 with goals on the 58th and 88th minutes respectively strikes from John Antwi.
Samuel then scored in injury time to reduce the deficit to 3-2.
Dreams FC now sit third on the Group C table with 6 points after playing three games and will play at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium against Academica do Lobito on the 20th of December 2023.
