Head coach of Bibiani Goldstars Frimpong Manso is urging focus amid the club relegation worries this season.

The Miners have been in dismal form this season and are currently in the relegation drop after 13 games into the Ghana Premier League campaign.

With 12 points, Bibiani Goldstars sit 16th position and must play above themselves to avoid demotion to the lower-tier.

They have two wins, six draws and five defeats after 13 games into the Ghanaian top-flight campaign.

In an interview with Takoradi-based West Gold Radio, Manso, who was recently appointed to replace Michael Osei has urged focus as he aimed to turn things around for the club.

“With the quality of players our folds, I’m very optimistic we can save the club if we work together as a team”

“I feel it’s not late for the club. Roughly, we are left with about 20-21 games to end the season and the points involved is about 60-63, so we just have to forget about the past and focus on what is ahead of us. I’m not scared and I believe there are a lot of things that can be done to save the club although it’s a situation that won’t be easy for us” he said.

Bibiani Goldstars are not in action this weekend. Their game against Dreams FC has been postponed due to the CAF Confederations Cup games.
