Black Queens secured a 3-1 victory against Namibia in the Morocco Women’s African Cup Of Nations qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
After missing out on the last edition, the Black Queens commenced the qualifying campaign on a high note with the intriguing encounter producing goals at both halves.
Brace from Striker Doris Boaduwaa and a goal from Potia Boakye handed the Black Queens the victory in the first leg of the qualifier.
Namibia pulled one back after Portia Boakye hit the ball in to her own net.
Unfortunately trainer Nora Hauptle impressive record of not conceding came to an end.
She has now guided the team to ten wins in 10, 34 goals scored, and one conceded.
Ghana is heading to the second leg of the game which will played in Windhoek on December.
