Skyy FC fall at Holy Stars, Ebusua Dwarfs beat Vipers in Cape Coast derby

Basake Holy Stars triumphed over Skyy FC to go on top of the table in Zone Two of the Access Bank Division One League.

Skyy FC, last seasons runner-up went into the game looking to cement their place at the top of the tabel but Holy Stars non of that as they inflicted a 2-0 defeat on the  Daboase lads. Alex Murphy scored the opener for Basake Holy Stars in the 45th minute before Stephen Kwamenda added the second goal in the 93rd minute. Holy Stars player, Francis Asante was named the best player of the match.

In Cape Coast, giants Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs clashed with long standing city rivals Venomous Vipers at the Robert Mensah stadium with Ebusua Dwarfs runnujg away with a 2-0 victory over Venomous Vipers. Enock Afram scored the first goal for Mysterious Dwarfs in the 39th minute before Kofi Maradona put the icing on the cake in the 91st minute.

Elsewhere in Ejisu, Mohammed Haruna scored for King Faisal in a 1-0 victory over Soccer Intellectuals. Haruna’s goal rescues King Faisal from another defeat after suffering a 3-0 loss to Rospak FC last weekend.
