I regret declining opportunity to play for Denmark – Enock Adu Kofi

Ghanaian international, Enock Adu Kofi has revealed that he regrets letting go the opportunity to play for the Danish senior national team.

The former Malmö FF midfielder is yet to feature for the senior national team, the Black Stars, despite his exploits in Europe.

“When I was playing for FC Nordsjaelland, Denmark spoke to me about switching nationality to play for them but I declined because I was at my peak and I was hoping to earn a call-up to play for the Black Stars,” the 33-year-old told Pure FM.

“Sometimes when it comes to mind, I feel sad because I was hoping to play for Black Stars which did not happen so I sometimes regret it.”

Adu Kofi currently plays for Finnish club, Ekenäs IF.
