President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has hailed the partnership between the Ghana Football Association and AKOA Beverages, producers of AQUABlue natural Mineral Water.

The two entities announced a one-year partnership deal on Thursday, November 09, 2023 in Accra. AQUABlue Natural Mineral water will supply water to the Association and refresh the various national teams in the course of the partnership.

Speaking at the out dooring event on Thursday, President Simeon-Okraku said the partnership will be mutually beneficial.

”Our footballers need water. When you engage in any physical activity you will appreciate the need for water. So water is very, very important and for the GFA to have a water partner that believes in the leadership and decided to invest their money in the Ghanaian game, all we can say is Thank you” President Simeon-Okraku said.

”Providing water for our footballers is part of the strategy of fixing the fundamentals. Today we have a Ghanaians owned company who are ready to supply all our water needs for the next 12 months. It’s incredible”.

”For those of you who are involved in football you know how footballers consume water.  So for the next 12 months AQUABlue becomes the official water partner of the GFA and we can’t thank you enough”.

”I know this company very well, I trust this company and I believe in their services. I have no doubt that AQUABlue natural mineral water will be available to us in the next 12 months and beyond. They will benefit, we will benefit and soon they will be coming up to reengage us for another 12 months”.

”I can assure you that the necessary nutrients in this water will give our Black Stars the necessary energy to win for us. We look forward to winning games and competitions together. In the end we should be mutual victors in this relationship” he added.
