Black Stars coach Chris Hughton is in danger of being sacked by the Ghana Football Association for uninspiring performances.
Hughton has been under pressure and the back to back defeats to Mexico and the United States of America further compounded his position as the trainer of the senior national team.
The Ghana FA is believed to be waiting for approval from government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports to show the gaffer the exit door.
Assistant coach George Boateng is being lined up as a replacement in the interim.
Ghana face Madagascar on November 17 before locking horns with Comoros three days later in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
