Eric Ayiah has reacted to scoring his maiden goal for CD Trofense in their 3-2 win against Sanjoanense on Sunday thanking his teammates for their togetherness despite their defeat.

The former Ghanaian youth player opened the scoring for the away side in the 52nd minutes after a goalless first half.

However, having been reduced to 10 men, Trofense were unable to hold onto the lead with the home side scoring twice in the 69th and 82nd minute respectively to turn the game on it’s head.

Nuno Valente equalise for Trofense but the away side conceded once again in the dying embers of the game to succumb to yet another defeat.

After the game Ayiah took to his Twitter page and tweeted:

Ayiah will be looking to add to his tally in subsequent games having joined the club in the summer from Gil Vicente.
