Solomon Twene scored a penalty to power Great Olympics to victory over Nations FC in a Ghana Premier League week seven encounter on Saturday.
It was a return to winning ways after suffering a 3-1 loss to Aduana FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in their previous outing.
But the victory did not come on a silver platter as they had to wait until the 89th minute before defender Twene netted from 12 yards out.
The win means Great Olympics return to the top of the Ghana Premier League table while Nations FC stays stuck at the bottom.
Up next for Olympics is away to Bechem United and Nations FC entertain Real Tamale United.
