GFA Spokesperson Henry Asante Twum has praised Bernhardt Lippert for his remarkable contributions in building a fully functional technical directorate within the association.
Twum shed light on the purpose behind Lippert’s appointment, stating that he was brought in with the specific task of creating and structuring a comprehensive technical directorate for the GFA, emphasizing that it wasn’t about physical construction but rather about organizing and streamlining the technical aspects of Ghanaian football.
“We appointed Bernard Lippert for a purpose. We brought him here to build a technical directorate for the FA, not in ‘build’ as in construction, but to put a structure together, Today we have a fully functional technical directorate because of him ” Twum sad in an interview with Peace FM.
Under Lippert’s guidance, the Ghanaian football landscape witnessed a transformation, with the establishment of a fully operational technical directorate. This marked a significant step forward in enhancing the technical aspects of football in the country.
Initially contracted for a two-year term, Lippert’s impact was so profound that, with the support of FIFA, his contract was extended for an additional year, allowing him to continue his vital work.
As Lippert’s departure signifies the end of an era, it also underscores the success in building a functional technical directorate within the Ghana Football Association
