Ghanaian players performance wrap in the UEFA Conference League

Many Ghanaian players were in action for their respective clubs in the UEFA Conference League competition. Kickoffghana.com has compiled data on these players’ appearances, with some unable to participate due to cards or injuries.

Ibrahim Sadiq scored for AZ Alkmaar in their 4-1 home loss to Aston Villa at the AFAS stadium in the Netherlands.

In Turkey, Bernard Tekpetey played the full 90 minutes for Ludogorets as his side lost 3-1 to Fenerbahce. Alexander Djiku played the entire duration of the game for the home side in front of 35,595 spectators. Both players received bookings at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium.

Defender Denis Odoi was on the bench for Club Brugge in their 3-1 away victory against Lugano at the Letzigrund Stadium in Switzerland.

Baba Abdul Rahman played 29 minutes for POAK in their 3-2 comeback victory against Aberdeen City at the Pittodrie stadium in Scotland.

Alfred Duncan couldn’t feature for Fiorentina in their 6-0 victory against Serbian giants Cukaricki at the Stade Artemio Franchi in Italy.

Joseph Paintsil played 89 minutes, while Bonsu Baah had 75 minutes on the pitch for Genk in their goalless draw against Kwabena Owusu’s Ferencvaros. Owusu came off the bench to replace Kristoffer Zachariassen in the 65th minute at the Cegeka Arena in Genk, Belgium.

Daniel Amartey couldn’t make the matchday squad for Besiktas due to injury, and they lost 3-1 to Bodo/Glimt at the Aspmyra stadium in Bodo.

Ibrahim Osman came off the bench to feature for Nordsjaelland, helping them secure a 2-0 away win over Trnava at the City Arena in Slovakia.
