Hearts of Oak head coach Martin Koopman has labelled his side’s goalscoring problem as a ‘national issue’ after stalemate with Samartex.
The Phobians played out a goalless draw, extending their winless run to four matches.
Hearts have scored one goal in five games in the top flight.
The pressure mounts on coach Koopman, who has attributed their struggle to the quality of Ghanaian players.
“I’m not the problem,” Koopman said to the media.
“I’m not the problem here. it’s a national issue. Even the Black Stars don’t have wingers and strikers to score goals.
“Ghanaian players like holding onto the ball too much, and they need to develop.” He added.
Hearts of Oak find themselves 12 on the league log with five points after five games.
