Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has conveyed his unwavering belief in Medeama SC following the Ghanaian champions’ qualification to the CAF Champions League group stage.
Medeama achieved this significant milestone by defeating Guinean giants Horoya AC in the final qualifying round.
Okraku, while speaking with the Medeama team upon their return to Ghana from Guinea, shared his optimistic outlook.
He stated, “This is a remarkable opportunity for us to showcase our quality not only in the West but also in Ghana. The group stage is a thrilling phase. It’s a stage where our technical team, led by the head coach, must demonstrate their excellence to the rest of Africa. He went on to say, “Moreover, playing in Tarkwa is a significant advantage. It should become an intimidating fortress for all the competing teams in this year’s CAF Champions League.
