Hearts of Oak’s Alhaji Akambi has been disqualified from contesting the Ghana football Association Executive Council seat.
The Electoral Committee of the GFA, after a thorough review of his eligibility, made the decision to disqualify him from the race.
In response to his disqualification, the experienced football administrator has been granted a three-day appeal window to contest the decision.
This period allows him to provide additional documentation or clarifications to address the concerns raised by the Electoral Committee.
The Elective Congress is scheduled to take place on September 27 at the Redaach Memorial Hotel in Tamale.
