Former Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Dr. K.K Sarpong has commended the club for their rigorous preparations leading up to the 203/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors, currently based in Beposo, are diligently gearing up under the guidance of Prosper Narteh Ogum.
On a recent visit, Dr. Sarpong had the opportunity to engage with the team’s technical staff and players, where he expressed his admiration for their preparations.
He emphasized his unwavering support for Asante Kotoko and expressed his satisfaction with the team’s training sessions.
“I was impressed with the training session and the preparations ahead of the new season. This is my club and some of us cannot stop supporting Asante Kotoko.
“The team look good and I believe it is because some of them have played together for a while now.
“Well done and I wish you the best of luck ahead of the season and if you need any help, you can always count on me,” he added.
Asante Kotoko, having finished in fourth place in the previous season, will begin the campaign with a crunch home game against Heart of Lions, who are making a return to the elite division after eight years of being relegated.
