Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng has been placed under suspension by Elfsborg for act of indiscipline.
Boateng did not report to training prior to the encounter with Degerfors – as they eventually lost 2-1.
The detail of his absence which triggered the suspension is unknown.
General Manager, Stefan Andreasson told BT: “Disciplinary reasons are the reason but it’s not a police case.”
The 25-year-old joined the swedish side in 2021 from Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel.
