Stephen Appiah opens up on sacrifices for Black Stars

Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has opened up on his sacrifices for the Black Stars during his playing days with the senior national team.

The former Juventus midfielder, who featured for Ghana between 1995 to 2010 has revealed paying for flight tickets and winning bonuses to entice players to feature for Ghana.

“I paid winning bonuses for my colleagues in the national team.”
