Winger Issah Ibrahim was on target twice to power FK Liepaja to a 3-2 victory Jelgava in the Latvian Higher League.
Issah scored his debut goal in the 41st minute before doubling his tally for the day and restoring parity, after FK Liepaja had conceded two goals.
D. Martin netted with seven minutes left, to secure all the three maximum points for FK Liepaja.
Issah was awarded the Most Valuable Player’s (MVP) for his contribution.
The 22-year-old has featured four times and has been on target two times since moving from Dreams FC in January 2023.
