Former Black Stars Striker Asamoah Gyan has attributed the success of his life to being a professional footballer.

The football star is regarded as one of the few richest players in Ghana.

The former Sunderland striker owns business companies including Mama Vits Noodles and Rice, Baby Jet Airline, Asa Band and many others.

“Looking back on my back in career and what I have been able to achieve, I give thanks to God because I achieved everything through football,” Gyan told Premier League production.

The 37-year old forward is Ghana’s all-time leading top goal scorer with 51 goals.

Gyan was part of the squad that represented Ghana in three FIFA World Cups and seven Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

He featured for many clubs such as Liberty Professional, Stade Rennes, Udinese Calcio, Sunderland, Al Ain, and Kayserispor.
