The Strasbourg defender picked up a serious knock in the second half and had to be replaced by Joseph Aidoo.
Further tests are expected to be carried out tomorrow to determine the full extent of the injury.
Antoine Semenyo’s late strike was the difference between the sides as Ghana took control of Group E.
The Black Stars are top of the standings with 7 points after three rounds of matches.
The reverse encounter is scheduled to be played on March 27, in Luanda.
