Black Stars goalkeeper, Jojo Wollacott “feels good to be back” after missing action for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar due to a finger injury.
The 25-year-old had been on the sideline for months with the injury but back fit and in shape to play for Ghana.
Wollacott was included in new manager Chris Hughton’s 25-man squad announced last week for 2023 ahead of Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations double header against Angola.
The squad began training on Monday, in preparation for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Angola on Thursday, 2023.
Wollacott alongside Inaki Williams, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Antoine Semenyo, Joseph Paintsil, and newcomer Ransford-Yeboah all trained at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday 20th March, 2023.
