Brighton have slipped in recent weeks, dropping points, and falling out of the Premier League’s top six. The Seagulls go into Saturday in eighth place and four points off sixth-place Liverpool in the race for the final European place.

West Ham are battling against relegation and go into Saturday’s match at the Amex Stadium in 16th. The Hammers are two points above the relegation zone.

A loss to Brighton and results going against them elsewhere could see West Ham end the weekend in the relegation zone.

Brighton are on a two-match winning streak against the Hammers. Earlier this season, the Seagulls went to the London Stadium and won 2-0.

An Alexis Mac Allister penalty put Brighton in front in the 22nd minute. Leandro Trossard added a second in the second half to see Brighton win.

The Seagulls are unbeaten in 11 straight matches versus West Ham. Brighton picked up 11 points from the last six matches in the Premier League, scoring 11 goals and conceding five.

West Ham earned eight points from the last 18 points on offer. The Hammers scored eight goals and conceded five times during those six games.

Seven players could miss the match for Brighton. Roberto De Zerbi will be without Jakub Moder, Levi Colwill, Enock Mwepu, and Adam Lallana.

In addition, Billy Gilmour and Pervis Estupinan are major doubts to play. Solly March could also miss out following a knock.

David Moyes will be without Maxwel Cornet due to a calf injury. Vladimir Coufal is a major doubt following a calf injury. Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is ruled out of the game due to a head injury.

Brighton may be playing well this season, but the Amex Stadium has not been a fortress. The Seagulls have a home record of 5W-2D-4L with 17 goals scored and 11 goals conceded.

West Ham have been poor on the road this season. The Hammers have won just one time in 12 matches this term. Moyes’ side has a record of 1W-3D-8L on the road, with seven goals scored and 16 against. West Ham failed to win their last six away matches.

Brighton are on a two-match winning streak against West Ham in the Premier League. The Seagulls qualified for the FA Cup quarterfinals in midweek and are flying high.

On Saturday, the Seagulls should win once more against West Ham with the match ending 2-0 in favour of the home side.
