President of Medeama SC, Mr. Moses Armah ‘Parker’ says the club is in no hurry to appoint a new head coach following the departure of Umar Rabbi.
Rabbi tendered his resignation after the club’s 1-1 draw with Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium last Wednesday.
The Mauve and Yellows have handed caretaker roles to Coach Stephen Pius Gurah, who has been with the team since the appointment of Umar Rabbi, as well as goalkeeper coach Ben Owu and Mark Nkrumah, who handles the youth side, Rospak FC.
Moses Parker assured fans that management will do a broader consultation and analysis before bringing on new appointees.
The Bankroller made the comments during an address to the playing body at their training session at the Akoon Community Park on Friday morning.
He also called on the players to remain united and resolute in pushing the Medeama dream forward, without any loyalty to individuals but the club.
Medeama hosts Berekum Chelsea at the Akoon Park on Matchday 20 of the betPawa Premier League on Sunday.
