Coach Michael Osei has attributed his appointment as assistant coach of the Black Meteors to hard work.
The Bibiani Gold Stars gaffer was handed the role of deputizing head coach Ibrahim Tanko by the Ghana Football Association on February, 28.
Osei has worked with Ghana Premier League side, Asante Kotoko as an assistant and head coach. Liberty Professionals and New Edubiase are other clubs he had stints with.
“I’m very happy for the news. Hard works pays,” He told Kickoffghana.com
“I will say a big thank you to GFA, the President himself. Thanks to God also for that,” he added.
The Black Meteors will play Algeria in the last round of the U-23 Africa Nations Championship qualifiers in Morocco.
