Coach Karim Zito has handed Accra Great Olympics attacker Samuel Ashie Quaye an invitation to the Ghana Under-23 national team.
The 21-year-old joined the list of 23 other players who are expected to report to camp at the Ghanaman soccer Centre of Excellence at 2pm on Monday, February 27, 2023.
The decision is to begin preparation for the last round of the 2023 Total Energies U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Abbey has played 14 games for the Wonder Club this season and scored 3 goals with same number of assists.
The next edition of the Total Energies U-23 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Morocco.
