Former Black Stars Coach has confirmed there is an ongoing discussion with Simba SC for a technical director role.
The experienced manager has been out of work since 2019 after his contract was not renewed as Ghana coach.
Speaking on Oyerepa FM, the trainer confirmed he has been contact by the club for the position.
“We are still talking and we are in advanced negotiations,it’s about 70% now. Hopefully we conclude everything soon.” he stated.
Coach Appiah applied for the Black Stars coaching job after the departure of Otto Addo following a disappointing World Cup campaign in Qatar but the position was eventually given to Chris Hughton by the Ghana Football Association.
