German Bundesliga II outfit SC Paderborn are interested in signing Ghana international Charles Takyi.
The 27-year-old will become a free agent at the end of the month when his contract runs out at St Pauli.
Takyi has refused a contract extension and wants to face a fresh challenge elsewhere after battling injuries last season.
He was a member of the Ghana which finished fourth at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
Takyi has also played for Hamburg and SpVgg Greuther Fürth.
