The league’s top scorer who opened the scoring for his side, passed out after a collision with Lions’ Jacob Mensahand and was quickly rushed to the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

His depature was compounded by the loss as Accra Lions eventually secured a 2-1 victory.

After spending a night at the treatment centre, the 19-year-old is in a stable condition and ready for action in the coming weekend.

“I fainted yesterday and resuscitated then realised I was in the hospital but for now I am very fine and can play our next match,” He said to Akwaaba FM in Berekum.

“I will like to thank everybody who prayed for me. It’s always worrying to score and they ( Opponents ) equalize, it’s bad we can’t win games but we will bounce back.”

Mezack is on top of the top scorers chart with 8 goals in the Betpawa Premier League.
