Medeama SC have confirmed the depart of midfielder Rashid Nortey after a successful six-year stint.
Both parties agreed to part ways by mutual consent following the expiration of his contract.
Nortey has been a loyal servant of the club since joining the Mauve and Yellow in 2017 and has recorded over 100 appearances.
The midfield dynamo is hugely reveled in Tarkwa and extremely popular with the club’s supporters.
Rashid Nortey was voted Medeama Player of the Season in 2021.
“It’s been an honour and privilege to serve this great club for six years. I am happy with my contribution and leave with my chest high,” he told medeamsc.org
