2022/23 Ghana Premier League Week 13: Accra Lions v Berekum Chelsea preview

There will be Ghana Premier League action this weekend when the 2022/23 football season enters Week 13.

All nine scheduled matches will be played as planned from Saturday, January 14, to Monday, January 16.

The matchday is coming up just three days after the 18 participating clubs cleared games on Week 12.

On Monday, out-of-form Accra Lions will be back at the Accra Stadium to host Berekum Chelsea.

Form Guide:

The capital-based club started the Ghana Premier League season on a good note but things are not going well at all.

The defeat to Tamale City FC on Thursday meant that Accra Lions have now lost three matches in the last five matches.

In that run, the club won one and lost the other game.

Now out of the top four of the Ghana Premier League log, Accra Lions need to find a way out of their poor form as soon as possible if the club wants to challenge for the title.

This weekend’s opponent, Berekum Chelsea are not doing well themselves. The team has lost twice in the last five outings.

With two wins in the period as well while one match ended in a stalemate.

Despite playing as the visiting team, the Blues will be tough to beat.

Predicted scoreline:

Hopefully, the return to the Accra Sports Stadium will help Accra Lions to rediscover their form of old.

Accra Lions 1-0 Berekum Chelsea

Match Details:

The Week 13 fixture between Accra Lions and Berekum Chelsea will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, January 16.

The encounter kicks off at 3pm.
