Ghana’s Mudasiru Salifu made his debut for new club Al Batin in their 2–2 stalemate against Al Fayha on Saturday afternoon.
The former Asante Kotoko midfielder lasted 80 minutes before replaced by replaced Nawaf Al Suhaimi.
Salifu joined the club for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign after a successful loan spell at Moldovan champions Sherrif Tiraspol.
Al Batin have the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old becomes the second Ghanaian player to play for Al Batin after former Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah from July 2021 to January 2022.
