Midfielder Lawrence Agyekum is looking up to Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde as role model in his footballing career.
Lawrence established himself as one of the best midfielders in Ghana during his days in the Ghana Premier League with WAFA.
His performances for the Sogakope-based club caught the eye of Austrian giants Salzburg where he signed a four-year-deal with in 2022.
The 19-year-old is hoping to emulate Uruguayan international, Valverde who is highly-rated on the global stage.
“I use to watch Andrés Iniesta. His dribbling and passes but now football is becoming more intense so now my favourite player is Valverde,” Lawrence told Joysports.
Lawrence has featured three times for the senior side of Red Bull Salzburg and eleven times for Lefering in the campaign so far.
