Hearts of Oak have parted ways with their goalkeeper Richard Attah after four years at the club.
The shot-stopper was put on diet by coach Slavko Matic to reduce weight but after he refused to go by the regulations, the Phobians took action to sever ties with him.
Attah joined Hearts of Oak in 2019 from Elmina Sharks and played a major role in historic treble winning Boadu’s team in the 2020-21 season.
The 28-year-old was part of the Black Stars squad that disappointedly exited the 2021 group stages of the AFCON in Cameroon last year.
Attah made his maiden Ghana call-up under the tutelege of CK Akonnor but the qualifiers was postponed following the devastating effect of Coronavirus.
