Ghana Premier League side Accra Hearts Of Oak have confirmed the contract extension for Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
Barnieh has been the subject of interest from clubs in Africa, Europe, and America.
There were media reports of a move to Swiss club FC Zurich for free following the expiration of his contract.
However the Ghanaian giants have poured water into those reports and announced the players contract extension.
Kickoffghana.com gather the 21-year-old signed a short-term deal to enable him feature for Ghana at the upcoming CHAN and for Hearts to benefit from his sale.
The player is currently with the Black Galaxies team preparing for the 2023 CHAN tournament to be played in Algeria.
